No Plaid, no credentials, no third-party connection. Add transactions manually or import a CSV — your bank never enters the picture.
Most budget apps connect through services like Plaid, which need your banking credentials and route your transaction data through their servers. For a lot of people that's a hard no.
FincWin doesn't sync with your bank at all. You stay in control of what goes in — by hand or by CSV — and your records are stored in your FincWin account, not passed through a bank-data aggregator.
| Feature | FincWin | Bank-sync apps |
|---|---|---|
| Needs bank login | No | Yes (via Plaid etc.) |
| Bank data routed through an aggregator | No | Yes |
| Manual & CSV entry | Yes | Sometimes |
How do transactions get in without bank sync?
You add them manually in seconds, or import a CSV exported from your bank. FincWin never needs your login.
Is CSV import free?
CSV import is a Pro feature ($39/year or $149 lifetime). Manual entry is free forever.
Where is my data stored?
Your data lives in your own account, not on your phone alone. FincWin keeps every household’s records isolated from every other household, and lets you export or permanently delete your data at any time. You can also save a backup copy to your own Google Drive.
