The short version: FincWin uses only essential cookies required to keep the app running. No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No third-party analytics dropped on your device.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They allow sites to remember information between page loads and sessions. Some cookies are necessary for basic functionality; others are used for analytics or advertising.

FincWin only uses the first kind.

Licence status	Stores your verified Pro or Lifetime licence locally so the app doesn't re-check on every load.	1 year
Theme preference	Remembers your chosen colour theme (light, dark, or custom) so it persists between visits.	1 year

All of the above are stored in localStorage or sessionStorage, not as traditional HTTP cookies. They remain on your device and are never sent to a third party.

What FincWin does not use

Advertising cookies — we run no ad network and drop no advertising identifiers.
Cross-site tracking cookies — nothing on FincWin follows you to other websites.
Analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar third-party session-recording tools.
Social media pixels — no Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn tracking pixels are loaded on this site.

Managing your preferences

Because we only use strictly necessary storage, there is no cookie consent banner — none is legally required for essential functionality under GDPR and similar regulations.

You can clear all locally stored data at any time from your browser settings, or from within the FincWin app under Settings → Data → Clear all data. This will reset the app to its initial state.
