A licence key is a unique code (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) you receive by email after purchasing Pro or Lifetime via Lemon Squeezy. Enter it on the Sign In page or in Account settings to unlock paid features on your device. You'll only need to do this once per device. The Free plan needs no key at all.
Yes. Going from Free to Pro means purchasing a Pro key — your data carries over automatically. Upgrading from Pro to Lifetime: contact us and we'll credit the remaining months on your annual plan. You pay the difference only. The Free plan is always available with no time limit regardless of whether you hold a paid key.
Pro at $39/yr gives you all current features, with your price locked in as long as you renew. Lifetime at $149 is a single payment — it includes everything in Pro plus all future features, priority support, and the upcoming desktop app. At $39/yr, Lifetime pays for itself in under four years. After that, it costs you nothing.
Your financial data — budgets, expenses, loan details, savings goals — never leaves your device. It lives in your browser's local storage only and is not transmitted to FincWin or any backend. If you enable Google Drive backup, that data is encrypted on your device before it reaches Drive, so neither Google nor we can read it. We do use external storage (Google's cloud) to manage your account: it stores your email address, licence key, display name, and plan — nothing financial. This is what allows your licence to be restored automatically on a new device.
Email us at support@fincwin.com with your purchase email and we'll retrieve your key straight away. If you have a FincWin account, you can also find your key under Account → Licence. Keys never expire — we don't charge renewal fees on Lifetime plans, and Annual plans renew the key automatically.
Yes — 30 days, no questions asked. If FincWin isn't right for you within 30 days of purchase, email us and we'll process a full refund. After 30 days, refunds are at our discretion — but we're reasonable people. If something isn't working, reach out and we'll find a solution.
